Note	A Painter's Legacy-- Clemente Orozco, left, son of famed Mexican muralist Jose Clemente Orozco, and Jose Clemente Orozco II, grandson of the artist, stand before a segment of the mural at Dartmouth College. The panel is commonly called "Christ Destroying the Cross" but was described by the artist' sons during his recent visit here as a symbol of man's spirit, rather than a religious statement. The painting is the final panel in the late artist's massive mural in Dartmouth's Baker Library titled " An Epic of American Civilization." Clement Orozco was visiting Dartmouth to speak at a seminar held as a prelude to the 50th anniversary commemoration of the execution of his father's murals. The son said that in his view "the Christ panel is of such importance that he (his father) could survive as a painter with that one panel." Jose Clemente Orozco II, 20, is already an accomplished painter having exhibited at several major U.S. museums.
