Intellectual Description	Thanks him for his generosity and contributions towards relieving Occom's great distress over the unfulfilled necessities of his family at this time. Explains that he hadn't realized the fund was exhausted, as Wheelock never passed that on. Bemoans the hardships brought on by the war, and discusses the importance of keeping the Indians neutral. Asks Thornton's assistance in getting money from the Scotch Society, as his letter of last winter has gone unanswered.
