Intellectual Description	This issue contains articles on the dedication of a bronze statue of OHP sculpted by William Turner and erected in Newport on September 10, 1885. The front page of the paper (right side of 18850912-001) contains an extensive article on the statue dedication, containing a drawing of the statue, a drawing of Perry, a list of the people in the procession, and reprintings of the remarks of the Governor, etc. Page 3 of the paper (right side of 18850912-002) contains a description of the Battle of Lake Erie as well as a drawing of Stephen Champlin, a drawing of Walcutt's statue of OHP in Cleveland, a drawing of Perry's quarters at Erie, and a drawing of OHP's burial site. Page 4 of the paper (left side of 18850912-003) contains a continuation of remarks from the front page of the paper, as well as a description of the statue and a poem dedicated to OHP. Note that 18850912-005 and 18850912-006 are copies of the front page and the second page of the paper.
